# What You Need:

→ Lemonade

01 - 3 cups cold lemonade (store-bought or homemade)

→ Ice Cream

02 - 4 scoops vanilla ice cream

→ Cotton Candy

03 - 1 cup loosely packed pink or blue cotton candy

→ Garnishes

04 - Lemon slices, for garnish
05 - Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
06 - Sprinkles, for rim

# Directions:

01 - Lightly moisten the rim of each glass with water or lemon juice, then dip into a plate of sprinkles to coat, if desired.
02 - Arrange a generous handful of cotton candy at the bottom of each tall glass.
03 - Slowly pour 3/4 cup cold lemonade over the cotton candy in each glass, allowing it to dissolve and sweeten the beverage.

05 - Garnish each float with a lemon slice and a fresh mint leaf if desired. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

# Top Tips:

01 -
  • Your guests will be mesmerized as the cotton candy disappears right before their eyes.
  • It is hands-down the most cheerful treat I know for instantly lifting spirits on a warm day.
02 -
  • Once you pour the lemonade, the cotton candy dissolves almost instantly, so have your audience nearby if you want to wow them.
  • I learned fast to have the ice cream scoops ready in advance—otherwise, your floats get watery before the show begins.
03 -
  • Have an extra bag of cotton candy, as some always vanishes before it gets to the glasses.
  • Dipping the glass rim in lemon juice before the sprinkles helps the decorations stick much longer.
